Facilites overview
The Sars Centre has modern facilities and plenty of room for expansion. One of the benefits of being located on the coast of Norway is the wide variety of world-class marine biology facilities, including field research stations, research vessels, equipment and laboratories which are shared between various institutions. Many of these are described under the European Large Scale Facility for Marine Pelagic Food Chain Research programme, which the University of Bergen recently hosted.
